Britt Moseley is an instructor at Clayhouse. Over the years he has pursued a diverse art practice that encompasses ceramics, painting, and audio/video projects. They have generally been connected with a environmental theme, with surrealist tendencies favoring the associative, juxtaposing seemingly disparate things, and rendering visions of distant alluring worlds. He has shown his ceramic sculpture in solo and group exhibitions, and recently produced the audio/visual performance “Buena Vista” with grants from WaveFarm and the City Arts Corps, centered around visual phenomenon of ceramic clay distilled in water, visions he developed while attending the IEA residency at Alfred College.
