Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced potter, we cater our private lessons to provide for all levels of instruction for kids and adults! Private lessons are a great way to get specialized attention on your own schedule.

Wheel Private Lessons

Duration: 2 hours

Age Minimum: 9 years

Availability: generally available weekdays 1-4pm and weekends

Includes: a skilled instructor to give the lesson and keeping 1 pot per participant for our staff to glaze and fire in a color of your choice!

Handbuilding Private Lessons

Duration: 1.5 hours

Age Minimum: 6 years

We welcome all levels of pottery for our Private Lessons! Whether you are a complete beginner or experienced potter, we cater our private lessons to provide for all levels of instruction for kids and adults. Private lessons are a great way to get specialized attention on your own schedule.

Ready to Schedule?

  • We typically need about a week’s notice to book the space and instructor. Lessons must be paid for at least 72 hours in advance.

  • You can make as many pots as the lesson time allows. Keeping one pot is included. Any additional pots kept to be glazed will cost $15 each.

  • It typically takes about 4-6 weeks to get your finished pottery back. We will email and/or call you to let you know when your pottery is ready to be picked up.

  • Food is not allowed in the studio, but drinks (including alcohol) are welcome. We can provide a bottle opener and cups!

  • All private lesson registrations are final: we do not offer refunds or credit. Rescheduling is allowed as long as we have at least 48 hours notice.

  • We consider group of 6 or people a party! Please see our party pricing here.

  • We typically need a week’s notice in order to reserve the space and instructor, even if you’ve already paid.
