Experience the Pottery Wheel and Handbuilding at our Summer Mini Camp!

Let your kid’s creativity shine in our week long pottery mini camp! On the wheel, students will learn the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, and trimming their very own pottery. With Handbuilding, students will learn how to make functional pottery with slab, coil and pinching techniques.

Each student will receive individualized instructions according to his or her experience and skill level by our accomplished ceramics instructors. Kids will keep up to 10 of their best pots and get to choose their glaze colors. Our staff will expertly glaze and fire work to be ready for pickup in about 4 weeks after the camp ends.

There is an optional snack each day! We request that kids bring their own water bottle, as well as other snacks if they have an allergy.

Registration

  • Class cancellation made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled start date will be eligible to receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled start date will receive a 50% virtual credit that is valid for 6 months from issuance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start will not be eligible for refund or credit. Please be aware that once the class begins we are unable to offer refunds, credit, transfers to other classes, or deferrals to other semesters. Our policy is non-negotiable and exceptions cannot be made.

  • Students will make work all week and then choose their favorite 10 pieces for our staff to glaze in a color of their choice! Fully fired pottery will be microwave and food safe and be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the camp ends.

  • Unfortunately we cannot accommodate partial attendance. We recommend looking at booking a private lesson instead.
